Abaya Product Care

AZZARA PRODUCT CARE

Laces / Beaded / Handwork Abaya

  • Dry clean only.
  • Please note some of these fabrics are delicate so please be careful against rough surfaces and snagging.
  • Recommended to not use any jewellery when wearing handwork abayas.
  • Handle with gentle care.

Plain / Rhinestones Abaya

  • Rinse the abaya alone in clean water for few seconds.
  • Do not use detergent.
  • Do not bleach.
  • Hang dry / let the clothes dry. (Do not wring out clothes)
  • Handle with gentle care.
  • Steam iron is recommended. If using a regular iron, use low temperature.
  • Avoid ironing directly over the rhinestones.

Scarves

  • Recommended to hand wash and line dry.
  • For makeup or oil stains, spot treat with a stain remover.
  • Steam iron or dry iron on low heat.
  • Avoid using high heat directly on the fabric.

Abayas are made to be of loose fitting and the sizes are more related to height. For example, a size 50 means the abaya is 50 inches in length. 

If your body height is 150 cm, then the recommended item length is either 50” or 52”, with the recommended sleeve length of 26”.

Note the measurements are for the Abaya itself, NOT BODY MEASUREMENTS.

If you are planning to wear the Abaya with long heels, we recommend adding one or two inches extra.
